Groundwater

However, with the increasing severity of environmental pollution in China, groundwater pollution caused by human activities has expanded from point-source to area-source pollution. Not only is groundwater itself polluted, but it also serves as a major medium for land pollution. Carrying out comprehensive online monitoring of groundwater hydrology and water quality, and fully mastering relevant indicators such as the distribution, variation laws, water quantity, and water quality of groundwater, can provide reliable monitoring data for scientific water use and water conservation, and offer support for decision-making on the development and utilization of groundwater resources.
According to the requirements of GB/T 14848-2017 Quality Standard for Groundwater, the online monitoring indicators for groundwater quality are as follows:
